Bored with Cyberspace? Do you find life too boring and predictable?
Well, we have a cure for that! Welcome to Siberspace! Here at Alpine, we are proud to have three Siberian* Huskies on our staff.
*(Actually 2 Siberian and 1 Alaskan (Shaka) but we pretend he's a Siberian)
Meet the Staff:
|
This
is Bandit, our director of logistics and transportation. This is a shot
of him showing up for his initial interview with our company. While
he started out with the best of intentions, he decided to take the "as
the crow flies" directions to the meeting. Unfortunately, there
was the small matter of some rabbits, squirrels and a small swamp between
him and us. He got the job.

Bandit
did such a great job running his department, that we decided to try
another one. In my opinion, Koko was hired more due to his ability to
brown-nose the boss, than due to any innate skills. However, he quickly
became a valued employee. Sadly his time with us in the office was short,
passing onto the Rainbow Bridge after only 2 years.

Finding
our company expanding, we decided to take an intern from the local SPCA.
Saber (on the left) was hired as our Office Manager, the position which
he still holds today. Here Bandit explains to Saber how to contact
the boss when he's forgotten his beeper.

Having
such luck with our previous Siberian hires, our next addition
to our staff was Nikita (on the right). She works in our quality control
department, where her task is digging out bugs in our software. Not
only does she find bugs in our software, she finds mice, shrews, lizards,
birds and the occasional squirrel. (How they got into our software,
we haven't a clue.)

|
Feeling
that the productivity of our software development was declining due
to the departure of Bandit, we brought in an efficiency expert from
the Delaware SPCA: Shaka (Roo) to shake things up a bit. Utilizing the
iron paw in the velvet glove, Shaka brought his bounding energy to getting
us back on track. From day one, he's been moving up the ranks, and looks
to be a shoe-in for the V.P. of Production.
